The iPhone 13 continue to deliver all their secrets. While the presentation keynote is not expected before September, a new series of leaks have confirmed the final design of the range, and especially of the back photo unit. As expected, Apple has revised the layout of the sensors on the standard and mini models.
Over the past few days, mockups of the iPhone 13 have appeared on the web. These models were sent to accessory manufacturers to enable them to develop their products. This way, the protective covers and cases are ready to go as soon as the phones hit the market.
Marques Brownlee, the famous American high-tech youtuber, managed to obtain a mock-up of each iPhone in the range. As expected, this 2021 generation is split into 4 models : an iPhone 13 mini, a standard iPhone 13, an iPhone 13 Pro and an iPhone 13 Pro Max.
THE DIAGONAL PHOTO BLOCK OF THE IPHONE 13/13 MINI IS CONFIRMED
In the photo, we quickly realize that the format of the iPhone 13 is identical to that of the iPhone 12. As expected, Apple uses the fundamentals introduced last year , such as the flat metal frame iPhone 4 style.
At the same time, Benks, an accessories maker in China, posted pictures showing the manufacturing molds used to design its cases. Thanks to these molds, Benks has already manufactured a range of protective shells. At this stage, we can therefore estimate that Apple has stopped on the design of its iPhone even if production has not yet started. It is likely that production will start in the coming weeks if the Cupertino company wants to meet its deadlines.
Thanks to the Benks cases, we realize that the photo block of iPhone 13/13 mini is different from that of iPhone 12/12 mini . Unlike last year, Apple has the two photo sensors diagonally . De facto, an iPhone 12 does not fit in an iPhone 13 case, and vice versa. We imagine that this new placement is part of Apple’s plan to reduce the thickness of the block, or even to integrate the Lidar scanner. We’ll tell you more about the iPhone 13 as soon as possible.
