If Orange and Free do not share their 5G network , they certainly do not share their fiber network. This Avignon couple learned the hard way. Danièle and Gérard Bonnici, both Free subscribers, lost their Internet connection more than three months ago . In this story, there is no question of a breakdown. The source of the problem goes back to their neighbor, recently installed in their neighborhood.
“It all started several months ago, when an Orange customer wanted to connect to the cable before the end of the year celebrations , ” says Danièle. “There was no more fiber available and the workers took my fiber to allocate it to this customer . ” Quickly, tensions appear between this newcomer, the couple and another of their neighbor, who also uses the same line. Since its installation, all three must share the latter, through successive connections and disconnections .
